Las rutinas de ejercicios apuntan a grupos musculares principales como el pecho, espalda, hombros, b\u00edceps, tr\u00edceps, piernas y abdomen. Se sugieren cuatro series de 6 a 10 repeticiones por cada ejercicio. Las pesas y libres y las m\u00e1quinas de pesas se recomiendan para las sesiones de entrenamiento con peso. Se recomienda salir a correr, subir escaleras o el entrenamiento en m\u00e1quinas el\u00edpticas para mejorar el estado cardiovascular. Los ejercicios de elongaci\u00f3n mejoran los niveles de flexibilidad. Los programas de nutrici\u00f3n deben seguir los lineamientos indicados para la participaci\u00f3n de eventos atl\u00e9ticos.
