Los espect\u00e1culos de animaci\u00f3n son muy frecuentes, sobre todo, en deportes de equipo. La animaci\u00f3n ha cobrado tal importancia que ha pasado a considerarse una actividad f\u00edsica extrema.<br><br>Originada en Estados Unidos, la animaci\u00f3n posee una gran tradici\u00f3n con aproximadamente 1.5 millones de porristas solo en el pa\u00eds americano. Adem\u00e1s de su fin ya mencionado, es considerado como un deporte m\u00e1s, existiendo incluso competencias mundiales como \u201cThe Cheerleading Worlds\u201d, en la cual compiten m\u00e1s de mil equipos para ganar la medalla de oro que los distinga como el mejor grupo animador. En el resto del mundo es poco lo que se practica la animaci\u00f3n, salvo algunos pa\u00edses como M\u00e9xico y Canad\u00e1 por influencia deportiva de EE.
