Construy\u00f3 el primer electroscopio conocido en el a\u00f1o 1600, con la finalidad de profundizar en sus experimentos sobre cargas electrost\u00e1ticas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p> <br>Un <strong>electroscopio<\/strong> es un dispositivo utilizado para detectar la existencia de cargas el\u00e9ctricas en objetos cercanos. Tambi\u00e9n indica el signo de la carga el\u00e9ctrica; es decir, si se trata de una carga negativa o positiva. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uninter.edu.mx\/ESCAT\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Electroscope.png\" alt=\"Electroscopio\" class=\"wp-image-34023\" width=\"176\" height=\"234\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.uninter.edu.mx\/ESCAT\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Electroscope.png 317w, https:\/\/blogs.uninter.edu.mx\/ESCAT\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Electroscope-226x300.png 226w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 176px) 100vw, 176px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Este instrumento est\u00e1 conformado por una vara met\u00e1lica confinada dentro de una botella de vidrio, idealmente al vaci\u00f3. Esta vara posee dos l\u00e1minas met\u00e1licas muy delgadas (oro o aluminio) conectadas en su parte m\u00e1s baja. A su vez, esta estructura est\u00e1 sellada con una tapa de material aislante, y en el extremo superior tiene una peque\u00f1a esfera denominada \u201ccolector\u201d. La funci\u00f3n del colector es &#8220;obtener la carga&#8221; del objeto que se acerca a \u00e9l, si las laminas en su extremo se separan entonces el objeto posee una carga igual a la carga del electroscopio. En cambio, si las laminillas se juntan es indicativo de que el objeto tiene una carga el\u00e9ctrica opuesta a la carga del electroscopio. La clave est\u00e1 en cargar el electroscopio con una carga el\u00e9ctrica de signo conocido; as\u00ed, por descarte ser\u00e1 factible deducir el signo de la carga el\u00e9ctrica del objeto que acerquemos al dispositivo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uninter.edu.mx\/ESCAT\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Electro_2-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Electroscopio\" class=\"wp-image-33125\" width=\"370\" height=\"277\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.uninter.edu.mx\/ESCAT\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Electro_2.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blogs.uninter.edu.mx\/ESCAT\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Electro_2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.uninter.edu.mx\/ESCAT\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Electro_2-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 370px) 100vw, 370px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>En la imagen se puede observar a los alumnos del curso de Elect\u00f3nica y Electromagnet\u00edsmo, del departamento de Ciencias, verificando el funcionamiento de un electroscopio elaborado por ellos mismos con materiales de f\u00e1cil acceso: un recipiente de vidrio, hilos de cobre obtenidos de un cable de calibre indistinto y l\u00e1minas de papel alumunio.
