La mayor\u00eda de las personas no son conscientes de los&nbsp;s\u00edntomas de la depresi\u00f3n, una enfermedad m\u00e1s compleja que lo que implica la mera expresi\u00f3n \u201csentirse triste\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 es la depresi\u00f3n?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>La depresi\u00f3n es una enfermedad que afecta a la mente y al cuerpo, produciendo cambios a nivel del sue\u00f1o, el apetito y la percepci\u00f3n que tenemos de nosotros mismos y el mundo en general. No es una se\u00f1al de debilidad ni tampoco es una elecci\u00f3n personal. Anda a paso ligero de 15 a 30 minutos cada d\u00eda, o baila, corre o monta en bicicleta, si lo prefieres. A las personas deprimidas no les suele apetecer estar activas.<\/li><li>Alim\u00e9ntate bien. &nbsp;La depresi\u00f3n puede afectar al apetito. Cuando est\u00e1n deprimidas, a algunas personas no les apetece nada comer, pero hay otras pueden comer demasiado.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Identifica los problemas, pero no les des vueltas. Intenta identificar las circunstancias que han contribuido a tu depresi\u00f3n. Cuando sepas qu\u00e9 es lo que te ha hecho sentirte triste y deca\u00eddo y por qu\u00e9, habla sobre ello con un amigo que te aprecie.<\/li><li>Expr\u00e9sate. Cuando una persona est\u00e1 deprimida, puede tener bloqueadas la creatividad y la capacidad para disfrutar de las cosas. Ejercita tu imaginaci\u00f3n (pintando, dibujando, haciendo garabatos, cosiendo, escribiendo, bailando, componiendo m\u00fasica, etc.) y no s\u00f3lo conseguir\u00e1s que fluyan tus jugos creativos sino que es posible que tambi\u00e9n experimentes emociones positivas.<\/li><li>Intenta fijarte en el lado positivo de las cosas. &nbsp;La depresi\u00f3n repercute sobre los pensamientos de las personas, haciendo que todo parezca negro, desastroso, triste y negativo. Si la depresi\u00f3n te est\u00e1 haciendo fijarte solo en lo negativo, haz un esfuerzo para fijarte en las cosas buenas de la vida.
