Partiendo de la premisa que para poder alcanzar el punto de congelaci\u00f3n, la temperatura m\u00e1s alta deber\u00eda primero pasar por la temperatura del objeto con menor temperatura primero, para as\u00ed despu\u00e9s llegar al punto de congelaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">En realidad, esto no es as\u00ed. Primero se congelar\u00e1 el objeto de mayor temperatura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">En la d\u00e9cada de 1970 el fen\u00f3meno recibi\u00f3 una clara y cuestionada explicaci\u00f3n. Y fue durante los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os que se populariz\u00f3 cuando cientos de personas aprovechaban las temperaturas invernales para lanzar al aire litros de agua hirviendo que nunca regresaban a la superficie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>\u201cEn general, la experiencia consiste en tener dos recipientes que contengan agua: uno con agua caliente y el otro con fr\u00eda.<\/em><br><em>Bajo determinadas circunstancias (el efecto Mpemba no siempre ocurre), al poner a enfriar ambos recipientes, el agua inicialmente caliente acaba congel\u00e1ndose antes que el agua inicialmente fr\u00eda. Distintos escenarios para esta experiencia han conducido a diferentes explicaciones posibles para este curioso fen\u00f3meno.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">Explicaci\u00f3n r\u00e1pida del experimento<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">La disoluci\u00f3n de los gases en las gotas: partiendo del conocimiento de que los gases se disuelven mejor en agua fr\u00eda que en agua caliente, se entiende que la composici\u00f3n qu\u00edmica del agua caliente es distinta a la del agua fr\u00eda. Se especula que esta diferencia de concentraciones de gases favorece, de alg\u00fan modo, la congelaci\u00f3n del agua en el recipiente con mayor temperatura inicial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Las propiedades de los enlaces moleculares: La convecci\u00f3n es lo que sucede cuando un l\u00edquido se mueve mientras est\u00e1 siendo enfriado o calentado. Lo que ocurre es que, el agua caliente es menos densa que el agua fr\u00eda (hasta los 4\u00baC), entonces, cuando el recipiente con el agua caliente est\u00e1 siendo enfriado, el agua fr\u00eda, que en general a estar\u00e1 m\u00e1s cerca de las paredes del recipiente, tender\u00e1 a ir para el fondo de este. Esto generar\u00e1 una circulaci\u00f3n de agua ser\u00e1 la responsable del efecto Mpemba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">El agua caliente se evapora m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido, pierde masa y necesita perder menos calor para congelarse: &nbsp;A medida que el recipiente con agua m\u00e1s caliente empieza a enfriarse, puede perder una cantidad considerable de masa gracias a la evaporaci\u00f3n de una parte. De esta manera, el recipiente que inicialmente conten\u00eda al agua m\u00e1s caliente puede llegar m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido a la congelaci\u00f3n que el otro recipiente, a pesar de que la masa de hielo resulte menor en el agua que se congel\u00f3 primero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Esta teor\u00eda no aplica a recipientes cerrados (entonces nos deja una inc\u00f3gnita seria que los investigadores siguen resolviendo).
