Recientemente se detect\u00f3 un tsunami de ondas gravitacionales tal como lo predijo Einstein y se comprueba que ten\u00eda raz\u00f3n, una vez m\u00e1s. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p><em>El propio Einstein dudaba sobre su existencia e incluso pens\u00f3 en desmentir la idea<\/em>&#8230;<\/p><cite>Albert Einstein, 1936<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 son las ondas gravitacionales?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Einstein pens\u00f3 que si su teor\u00eda era correcta y el tejido conocido como espacio-tiempo era parte del universo, entonces deber\u00eda haber se\u00f1ales de los movimientos c\u00f3smicos que se propagaran a trav\u00e9s de \u00e9l. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las ondas gravitacionales, son ondulaciones del espacio-tiempo que se generan cuando los objetos c\u00f3smicos colisionan o se mueven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se sab\u00eda que las ondas gravitacionales pod\u00edan suceder. Sin embargo, se cre\u00eda que ser\u00edan tan d\u00e9biles que no ser\u00edamos capaces de comprobar su existencia y como se hab\u00eda esperado, los astrof\u00edsicos no hab\u00edan podido rastrear se\u00f1al alguna de ellas.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"620\" height=\"376\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uninter.edu.mx\/ESCAT\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/LIGO_Events_Timeline1.jpg\" alt=\"tsunami\" class=\"wp-image-46811\"\/><figcaption>L\u00ednea de tiempo, evidencia de la existencia de las ondas gravitacionales.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Fue en 2015 que la tecnolog\u00eda por fin permiti\u00f3 reafirmar una vez m\u00e1s que Einstein ten\u00eda raz\u00f3n. A trav\u00e9s del laboratorio LIGO (Observatorio de Ondas Gravitacionales por Interferometr\u00eda L\u00e1ser), se pudieron detectar las primeras ondas gravitacionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan los cient\u00edficos del LIGO, se ha detectado por primera vez en la historia ondas en el espacio-tiempo producidas por la colisi\u00f3n de dos agujeros negros, uno 36 veces, y el otro 29 veces m\u00e1s grandes que el Sol, a una distancia de m\u00e1s de mil millones de a\u00f1os luz de la Tierra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Qu\u00e9 son las ondas gravitacionales que Einstein predijo y que se confirmaron 100 a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s\" width=\"700\" height=\"394\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0fHkEolNWFc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><figcaption>La BBC nos ense\u00f1a c\u00f3mo se llev\u00f3 a cabo la detecci\u00f3n de las ondas gravitatorias.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Escuchando ondas gravitacionales<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Las ondas fueron detectadas por primera vez el 14 de septiembre de 2015 y desde entonces los investigadores estudian el hallazgo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre las evidencias de esos hallazgos, se encuentran las siguientes grabaciones que se muestran en seguida:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-rich is-provider-soundcloud wp-block-embed-soundcloud\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"LIGO Sound 1135136350 - Dur 5 - Hp 20 - Lp 400 - Su 1p0 - Fs 400 by Guardian Science\" width=\"700\" height=\"400\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?visual=true&#038;url=https%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F246541133&#038;show_artwork=true&#038;maxheight=1000&#038;maxwidth=700\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Se pudo determinar, en aquel entonces que antes del &#8216;choque&#8217; los agujeros daban vueltas uno alrededor del otro a raz\u00f3n de 250 veces por segundo a una velocidad dos veces inferior a la de la luz. Su colisi\u00f3n se tradujo en ondas gravitacionales que crearon una enorme &#8216;tormenta&#8217; en la que el flujo de tiempo se desaceleraba y luego se aceleraba para ralentizarse de nuevo despu\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El tsunami <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Una reciente investigaci\u00f3n de los observatorios LIGO, en Estados Unidos; Virgo, en Italia, y KAGRA en Jap\u00f3n, en la que participaron cientos de cient\u00edficos, afirma haber detectado el mayor n\u00famero de ondas gravitacionales hasta la fecha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este hallazgo puede ayudar a resolver algunos de los enigmas m\u00e1s complejos del universo, incluyendo los componentes fundamentales de la materia y el funcionamiento del espacio y el tiempo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Esta es realmente una nueva era para la detecci\u00f3n de ondas gravitacionales <\/p><cite>Susan Scott, investigadora del Centro de Astrof\u00edsica Gravitacional de la Universidad Nacional de Australia y una de las autoras del estudio.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Los observatorios detectaron un total de 35 nuevas ondas gravitacionales entre noviembre de 2019 y marzo de 2020. Una cantidad diez veces mayor que la que detect\u00f3 LIGO por primera vez en 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Del \u2018tsunami\u2019 de ondas gravitacionales, 32 son el resultado de choques de agujeros negros entre s\u00ed. Mientras que s\u00f3lo tres de las ondas captadas, corresponden a colisiones entre agujeros negros y estrellas de neutrones. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con este hallazgo, ya suman un total de 90 ondas registradas con la tecnolog\u00eda humana en lo que va del 2015 al 2020. Se espera que en el futuro las detecciones aumenten y ayuden a comprender m\u00e1s sobre c\u00f3mo est\u00e1 construido el cosmos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-tiled-gallery aligncenter
