{"id":53161,"date":"2022-10-11T19:46:00","date_gmt":"2022-10-12T00:46:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.uninter.edu.mx\/ESCAT\/?p=53161"},"modified":"2025-03-12T17:13:38","modified_gmt":"2025-03-12T23:13:38","slug":"microbateria-que-tiene-el-tamano-de-una-mota-de-polvo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uninter.edu.mx\/ESCAT\/index.php\/microbateria-que-tiene-el-tamano-de-una-mota-de-polvo\/","title":{"rendered":"Microbater\u00eda que tiene el tama\u00f1o de una mota de polvo #IME #Microbater\u00eda"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/EscatUninter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uninter.edu.mx\/ESCAT\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/ESCAT-2-902x1024.png\" alt=\"Logo de la ESCAT\" width=\"146\" height=\"166\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Gracias a sus medidas microsc\u00f3picas, esta innovadora bater\u00eda podr\u00e1 alimentar los microordenadores del futuro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Los avances tecnol\u00f3gicos&nbsp;&nbsp;contempor\u00e1neos se mueven entre macroestructuras del tama\u00f1o del&nbsp; acelerador de part\u00edculas CERN, que nos ha ofrecido descubrimientos de part\u00edculas huidizas como el bos\u00f3n de Higgs, y proezas de la miniaturizaci\u00f3n como esta c\u00e1mara del tama\u00f1o de un grano de sal de la que hablamos recientemente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1600\" height=\"900\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uninter.edu.mx\/ESCAT\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/image-165.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-53162\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Y, si bien la producci\u00f3n de microchips hace tiempo que se instal\u00f3 en escalas de nan\u00f3metros, las min\u00fasculas bater\u00edas que alimentar\u00e1n los microordenadores del futuro a\u00fan no est\u00e1n a la altura. Y eso es lo que viene a cambiar una nueva bater\u00eda plegable como el origami. Tiene el&nbsp;tama\u00f1o de una mota de polvo&nbsp;y podr\u00eda abastecer de energ\u00eda a dispositivos microsc\u00f3picos que circulen por nuestras venas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Una microbater\u00eda enrollable como una persiana<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Lo m\u00e1s habitual en el mundo de las bater\u00edas es recurrir a la \u201cqu\u00edmica h\u00fameda\u201d, es decir, soluciones qu\u00edmicas que conducen la corriente el\u00e9ctrica. El problema es que, a medida que nos adentramos en el terreno microsc\u00f3pico, el&nbsp;uso de l\u00edquidos se vuelve inviable. Hasta ahora se recurr\u00eda a c\u00e9lulas fotovoltaicas o la generaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda por ultrasonidos. Los investigadores de la Universidad Tecnol\u00f3gica de Chemnitz en Alemania han tomado otra ruta para crear&nbsp;una microbater\u00eda de 0,04 mm<sup>2<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Este innovador prototipo recurre a dos microchips sobre los que se ha imprimido una pel\u00edcula s\u00f3lida de electrodos positiva y otra negativa, respectivamente. Entre las dos capas hay un electrolito s\u00f3lido con propiedades conductivas. Sin embargo, la superficie \u00fatil para generar electricidad es muy peque\u00f1a. Aqu\u00ed es donde entra el otro elemento de la ecuaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"870\" height=\"758\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uninter.edu.mx\/ESCAT\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/image-166.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-53163\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Gracias a t\u00e9cnicas de microorigami, las propias sustancias depositadas sobre estas fin\u00edsimas l\u00e1minas tienden a enrollarse espont\u00e1neamente. El resultado es&nbsp;una estructura de persiana enrollada de forma cil\u00edndrica<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>que multiplica la superficie generadora de energ\u00eda. Se trata de una t\u00e9cnica similar a la de las bater\u00edas cil\u00edndrica&nbsp;de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n de los coches el\u00e9ctricos de Tesla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">El siguiente reto: integrar microprocesadores<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Por supuesto, que nadie espere cifras propias de reactor de fusi\u00f3n nuclear a estas escalas. Los investigadores consideran que la propia tecnolog\u00eda de la bater\u00eda, que utiliza el tipo de l\u00e1minas presentes en microchips, se presta a la integraci\u00f3n de microprocesadores a la misma escala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">La nanobater\u00eda, que es recargable, podr\u00eda alimentar los microprocesadores m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os de la actualidad&nbsp;durante diez horas&nbsp;para desempe\u00f1ar funciones b\u00e1sicas. En el caso de microprocesadores que monitorizan y transmiten informaci\u00f3n ser\u00eda preciso crear bater\u00edas con una mayor densidad energ\u00e9tica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uninter.edu.mx\/ESCAT\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/image-167.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-53164\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">or ahora, se trata de un prototipo que no ha pasado a la fase de producci\u00f3n, pero sus creadores estiman que se podr\u00eda&nbsp;fabricar con un coste reducido&nbsp;una vez que se haya afinado el proceso. Est\u00e1n convencidos de que podr\u00eda ser el primer paso hacia una&nbsp;nueva generaci\u00f3n de microbater\u00edas de alta potencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Bater\u00edas alternativas: del papel a la energ\u00eda inal\u00e1mbrica<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">En paralelo a la miniaturizaci\u00f3n extrema, existen otras tecnolog\u00edas de bater\u00eda que nos han sorprendido en los \u00faltimos tiempos. Un ejemplo ser\u00eda la impresi\u00f3n de bater\u00edas en papel&nbsp;que se activan con la humedad. Estos dispositivos son&nbsp;flexibles y biodegradables. De hecho, al recurrir a bacterias generadoras de electricidad, una vez que la bater\u00eda se ha agotado, los microorganismos metabolizan el soporte hasta que desaparece. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Otra innovadora bater\u00eda incorpora tecnolog\u00eda de carga inal\u00e1mbrica, concretamente empleando el mismo espectro de radiofrecuencia que Bluetooth.&nbsp;
