{"id":61487,"date":"2023-10-22T13:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-10-22T18:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.uninter.edu.mx\/ESCAT\/?p=61487"},"modified":"2023-10-03T15:26:16","modified_gmt":"2023-10-03T20:26:16","slug":"dispositivo-aprovecha-la-resistencia-de-coulomb-para-generar-electricidad-uninter-escat-energia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uninter.edu.mx\/ESCAT\/index.php\/dispositivo-aprovecha-la-resistencia-de-coulomb-para-generar-electricidad-uninter-escat-energia\/","title":{"rendered":"Dispositivo Aprovecha la Resistencia de Coulomb para Generar Electricidad #Uninter #ESCAT #Energ\u00eda"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/EscatUninter\/?locale=es_LA\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uninter.edu.mx\/ESCAT\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image-24.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-61177\" width=\"275\" height=\"311\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Como este dispositivo aprovecha resistencia para generar electricidad: m\u00e1s peque\u00f1o que un cabello humano puede generar electricidad a partir de la diferencia de salinidad entre el agua de mar y el agua dulce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Investigadores de la Universidad de Illinois Urbana-Champaign han dise\u00f1ado un dispositivo hecho de materiales semiconductores a nanoescala que utiliza un fen\u00f3meno llamado &#8220;Coulomb drag&#8221; para convertir el flujo de iones de sal en energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00bfC\u00f3mo funciona?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando el agua de mar y el agua dulce se encuentran, los iones de sal naturalmente se mueven de una concentraci\u00f3n m\u00e1s alta a una m\u00e1s baja, y este movimiento se utiliza para generar electricidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El dispositivo cuenta con un canal muy estrecho por el que fluyen los iones, y las fuerzas el\u00e9ctricas entre los iones y las cargas en el dispositivo generan alto voltaje y corriente el\u00e9ctrica. Los investigadores descubrieron que el dispositivo funcionaba igual de bien, ya sea que las fuerzas el\u00e9ctricas fueran atractivas o repulsivas, y que tanto los iones positivos como los negativos contribu\u00edan al arrastre.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uninter.edu.mx\/ESCAT\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image-43.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-61490\" width=\"603\" height=\"339\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, observaron un nuevo efecto de amplificaci\u00f3n debido a la transferencia de momento desde los iones, que son mucho m\u00e1s pesados que las cargas contenidas en el dispositivo, aumentando la corriente subyacente. Estos efectos no depend\u00edan de la forma espec\u00edfica del canal o del tipo de materiales, siempre que el canal fuera lo suficientemente estrecho como para asegurar la cercan\u00eda entre los iones y las cargas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los investigadores planean patentar sus hallazgos y est\u00e1n estudiando c\u00f3mo conectar varios dispositivos para generar aun m\u00e1s energ\u00eda. Se cree que la densidad de potencia de un conjunto de dispositivos podr\u00eda igualar o superar la de las c\u00e9lulas solares, y tambi\u00e9n se mencionan posibles aplicaciones en campos como la
