Se pueden utilizar en superficies curvas, como naves espaciales y techos, creando m\u00e1s v\u00edas para la producci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">Una investigaci\u00f3n dirigida por investigadores de la Universidad de Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda de Jiangsu (JUST) en China ha llevado al desarrollo de c\u00e9lulas solares basadas en silicio m\u00e1s delgadas que una hoja de papel A4. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">Investigadores de la Universidad Curtin de Australia y LONGi Green Energy Technology, con sede en China, tambi\u00e9n contribuyeron a este desarrollo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uninter.edu.mx\/ESCAT\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/image-124.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-65016\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">Las c\u00e9lulas solares basadas en silicio se est\u00e1n utilizando abundantemente para hacer la transici\u00f3n de nuestra demanda de energ\u00eda de combustibles f\u00f3siles a una energ\u00eda solar m\u00e1s sostenible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">Los costos de implementaci\u00f3n de c\u00e9lulas solares han disminuido constantemente en las \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas, lo que facilita su implementaci\u00f3n a escala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Proceso de creaci\u00f3n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">Fabricados con silicio cristalino tienen una estructura de &#8220;s\u00e1ndwich&#8221; en su dise\u00f1o, donde el sustrato de la oblea o la capa intermedia representa la mayor parte del espesor de la celda. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">Los intentos anteriores de hacer que estas c\u00e9lulas de silicio sean m\u00e1s flexibles han dado resultados positivos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">En el intento publicado el a\u00f1o pasado participaron investigadores del Instituto de Microsistemas y Tecnolog\u00eda de la Informaci\u00f3n de Shanghai, que lograron c\u00e9lulas solares de s\u00f3lo 60 micr\u00f3metros de espesor, aproximadamente el espesor de un cabello humano.<br><br>Los investigadores de JUST han dado un paso m\u00e1s y han producido c\u00e9lulas de silicio de s\u00f3lo 50 micr\u00f3metros de grosor, m\u00e1s delgadas que una hoja de papel A4. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1440\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uninter.edu.mx\/ESCAT\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/image-125.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-65017\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">Sin embargo, a diferencia del papel, las c\u00e9lulas de silicio no se pueden plegar, sino que se pueden doblar hasta formar un rollo, lo que resulta \u00fatil a la hora de desplegarlas en sat\u00e9lites y otras aplicaciones espaciales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mejorando la eficiencia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">La p\u00e9rdida de eficiencia de conversi\u00f3n de energ\u00eda (PCE) tambi\u00e9n ha sido una de las principales razones por las que las c\u00e9lulas de silicio m\u00e1s delgadas a\u00fan no se han generalizado en la actualidad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">Se necesita algo m\u00e1s que reducir el espesor a 50 micr\u00f3metros para facilitar el uso de c\u00e9lulas solares flexibles. <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uninter.edu.mx\/ESCAT\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/image-126.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-65018\" width=\"732\" height=\"412\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">En intentos anteriores, las c\u00e9lulas de silicio flexibles con un espesor de menos de 150 micr\u00f3metros produjeron un PCE de hasta el 24,7 por ciento.<br><br>El PCE de las c\u00e9lulas m\u00e1s delgadas deber\u00eda mantenerse en torno a esta cifra para que las c\u00e9lulas solares sean efectivas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">Sin embargo, los investigadores pudieron mejorar el PCE a m\u00e1s del 26 por ciento para todas las c\u00e9lulas que fabricaron, cuyo espesor variaba entre 50 y 130 micr\u00f3metros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fuente: <a href=\"https:\/\/news.mit.edu\/2022\/ultrathin-solar-cells-1209\">Massachusetts Institute of Technology News <\/a><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\"><a href=\"https:\/\/universidad.uninter.edu.mx\/carreras\/IMI\">Ingenier\u00eda en Mec\u00e1nica Industrial<\/a><br><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.uninter.edu.mx\/ESCAT\/index.php\/category\/ingenieria-mecanica-industrial\/\">M\u00e1s noticias sobre Mec\u00e1nica Industrial<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uninter.edu.mx\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"154\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uninter.edu.mx\/ESCAT\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/image-43.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-62056\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00bfCeldas solares flexibles m\u00e1s delgadas que el papel?
