Valve ha conseguido despertar al gigante y le ha hecho reconocer que el formato impulsado definitivamente por la Switch vence y convence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

La Nintendo Switch lleva a\u00f1os mostrando el camino, pero nadie parec\u00eda hacer caso. Microsoft y Sony segu\u00edan a lo suyo con sus Xbox Series S\/X y sus PS5, pero entonces lleg\u00f3 Valve y present\u00f3 por sorpresa la espectacular Steam Deck. El impacto ha sido notable y ha validado un modelo que cada vez parece m\u00e1s el que seguir\u00e1 Microsoft en el futuro inmediato.<\/p>\n\n\n

SteamOS gana fuerza. Valve confirm\u00f3 esta semana que SteamOS estar\u00e1 disponible para las ASUS ROG Ally. Eso plantea una amenaza para Windows, que hasta ahora era la alternativa para esa consola port\u00e1til y para otras como la Ayaneo: su \u00faltimo modelo, la Ayaneo Next Lite, utiliza HoloISO, un fork de SteamOS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Windows 11 sigue funcionando regular en estas consolas. Microsoft lanz\u00f3 sus primeros controladores para la Steam Deck en marzo de 2022 y eso permiti\u00f3 utilizar Windows 10 en esta consola. Tambi\u00e9n es posible usar Windows 11, pero el funcionamiento de Windows no es perfecto, y hasta Valve ha intentado mejorar ese soporte con nuevos controladores para su Steam Deck OLED. Y sin embargo, eso parece estar despertando al gigante para que pase a la acci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n

Microsoft est\u00e1 moviendo ficha<\/strong>. Fuentes de Microsoft revelan que la empresa est\u00e1 desarrollando nuevas funciones para funcionar mejor en consolas port\u00e1tiles y que tambi\u00e9n se aproveche m\u00e1s XCloud. Incluso se rumorea que se han proporcionado ASUS ROG Ally para ciertos empleados para que se aseguren de que esa experiencia con Windows 11 mejora.<\/p>\n\n\n

Valve est\u00e1 rob\u00e1ndole la cartera a Microsoft. La empresa de Redmond est\u00e1 viendo como Valve ha logrado conquistar parte de este jugoso mercado, y el \u00e9xito de la Steam Deck ha impulsado tambi\u00e9n su tienda de software, Steam, con la que Valve se lleva un 30% de comisi\u00f3n. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
