En \u00e9l viajaban varios ciudadanos japoneses en busca de nuevas oportunidades que pudieran llevarlos a Estados Unidos eventualmente. Entre todos los inmigrantes se encontraba\u00a0<strong>Yoshigei Nakatani<\/strong>, un hombre que encontrar\u00eda en M\u00e9xico el amor y una nueva \u201cvida impulsada por cacahuates\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En esa \u00e9poca previa a la Segunda Guerra Mundial, a M\u00e9xico solo se les permit\u00eda entrar a los japoneses que hab\u00edan sido invitados por un residente mexicano; Nakatani lleg\u00f3 con la empresa de botones llamada\u00a0<strong>El Nuevo Jap\u00f3n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cConoci\u00f3 a mi mam\u00e1 porque le rent\u00f3 a mi abuela materna un cuarto y le gustaba mucho cantar, fue el cantante oficial de la colonia Japonesa\u201d, narr\u00f3 en\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/codigoespagueti.com\/noticias\/cultura\/cacahuate-japones-origen-mexico\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">una entrevista\u00a0<\/a>el cantante Yoshio, hijo de la pareja. \u201cNo hablaba nada de espa\u00f1ol y se sub\u00eda a la azotea a cantar. Mi madre era la que lavaba la ropa de la familia y se ve\u00edan en la azotea. Mi padre le preguntaba c\u00f3mo se dec\u00edan las cosas en espa\u00f1ol y al a\u00f1o se casaron. Nunca habl\u00f3 bien el espa\u00f1ol, pero se daba a entender\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"374\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uninter.edu.mx\/Vinculacion\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/image-9.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3892\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>En su autobiograf\u00eda&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.istor.cide.edu\/archivos\/num_21\/notas.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>\u201cEse \u00e1rbol a\u00fan sigue en pie\u201d<\/em><\/a>,&nbsp; Nakatani recuerda el momento exacto en el que se baj\u00f3 del barco en la costa mexicana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En un mundo mucho menos globalizado que el de ahora, el choque cultural que vivieron los japoneses al llegar al occidente era muy fuerte. Varios migrantes se casaban con una mexicana poco tiempo despu\u00e9s de su llegada para asegurar su vida en el pa\u00eds.
