\u201cLa extorsi\u00f3n telef\u00f3nica es un tipo de fraude en la que una persona a trav\u00e9s de una llamada telef\u00f3nica nos amenaza, enga\u00f1a o intimida con el fin de obtener dinero u otros beneficios\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

9 pasos recomendados para evitar caer en este tipo de extorsi\u00f3n:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. No compartas tu n\u00famero telef\u00f3nico con cualquiera<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Tu n\u00famero de tel\u00e9fono es la principal v\u00eda para intentar extorsionarte, por lo que debes evitar darlo a cualquiera persona. Puedes usar\u00a0el\u00a0correo electr\u00f3nico\u00a0para reducir las probabilidades de intento de extorsi\u00f3n, pero aun as\u00ed el riesgo persiste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Identifica a tus nuevos contactos<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Debes de\u00a0identificar a las personas\u00a0de las que podr\u00edas\u00a0esperar una llamada, pidi\u00e9ndoles previamente su n\u00famero telef\u00f3nico para saber que se trata de ellas cuando te llamen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. No contestes llamadas de n\u00fameros desconocidos<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Evita responder a n\u00fameros\u00a0que no est\u00e1n en tus contactos, sobre todo, si no est\u00e1s esperando una llamada en particular o si tiene un n\u00famero internacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSi no tienes relaci\u00f3n alguna con una persona que te est\u00e1 llamando desde un n\u00famero desconocido,\u00a0es un indicador de que podr\u00eda tratarse de un enga\u00f1o\u00a0y una llamada para tratar de aprovecharse de ti\u201d,\u00a0consider\u00f3 Bellor\u00edn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Si\u00a0alguien te quiere contactar hallar\u00e1 la manera de hacerlo\u00a0por otras v\u00edas o conocidos en com\u00fan.
\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Si contestaste, escucha y cuelga de inmediato.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

En caso de contestar una llamada por equivocaci\u00f3n o descuido, debes escuchar lo que primero te dice la otra persona;\u00a0cuelga en caso de no reconocerlo o si recibes amenazas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCuelga, no digas nada, bloquea ese n\u00famero y (si te dieron un nombre de un conocido) llama a la persona a la que te est\u00e1n mencionando. No entables conversaciones, ni abras di\u00e1logos con desconocidos\u201d,\u00a0agreg\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En caso de tener alg\u00fan\u00a0negocio\u00a0y debas contestar,\u00a0cuelga al identificar que es un enga\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0Recuerda:\u00a0cada segundo que est\u00e1s en l\u00ednea es una oportunidad para amenazarte\u00a0a ti o hacerte creer que tienen a alguien de tu familia.\u00a0Si cuelgas es dif\u00edcil que te vuelvan a marcar porque sabr\u00e1n que contigo perder\u00e1n el tiempo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Conserva la calma y permanece en el lugar donde est\u00e9s<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Los delincuentes buscar\u00e1n que caigas en el enga\u00f1o a trav\u00e9s de un\u00a0shock\u00a0<\/em>psicol\u00f3gico, para\u00a0obligar que te muevas hacia un lugar para aislarte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMant\u00e9n la calma y no hagas caso a sus indicaciones, qu\u00e9date en d\u00f3nde est\u00e1s y\u00a0llama de inmediato a tu familia\u00a0(para confirmar que est\u00e9n bien)\u201d,\u00a0coment\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los extorsionadores intentar\u00e1n que te traslades a plazas o zonas donde est\u00e9s solo, incomunicado, y por lo tanto, que seas m\u00e1s vulnerable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. No compartas informaci\u00f3n o fotograf\u00edas<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Durante la llamada, evita compartir informaci\u00f3n personal o familiar sensible, como\u00a0NIP, PIN o contrase\u00f1as.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tampoco env\u00edes fotos tuyas, sobre todo, si te piden que te las tomes en el momento.\u00a0Siempre duda de cuando te pidan lo anterior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con esta informaci\u00f3n, los delincuentes buscar\u00e1n quitarte el control de tus cuentas, por ejemplo, de\u00a0WhatsApp, para mantenerte incomunicado, o\u00a0ejercer presi\u00f3n a familiares con tus fotos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Duda si te dan caracter\u00edsticas de tu domicilio<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Si te describen tu casa de manera acertada, lo m\u00e1s seguro es que buscaron su imagen en aplicaciones como\u00a0Google Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El riesgo real de que quienes te llaman est\u00e9n cerca de ti y puedan materializar sus amenazas es\u00a0relativo, pues expertos en seguridad consideran que\u00a09 de cada 10 llamadas\u00a0de este tipo salen de los\u00a0penales.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. No hagas transferencias o dep\u00f3sito de dinero<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

El objetivo de los delincuentes es\u00a0obtener tu dinero\u00a0de forma il\u00edcita.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evita hacer transferencias, dep\u00f3sitos de dinero\u00a0o\u00a0comprar tiempo aire\u00a0celular\u00a0a las personas que te presionan a hacerlo bajo amenazas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. Comparte tu experiencia con familiares y amistades<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Dialoga con tu familia acerca de este delito para tomar\u00a0acciones preventivas. Esto incluye mantener una comunicaci\u00f3n durante el d\u00eda y compartir informaci\u00f3n sobre tus ubicaciones y compa\u00f1\u00edas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En caso de sufrir un intento de extorsi\u00f3n o ser v\u00edctima,\u00a0transmite tu experiencia, ya que generalmente los delincuentes\u00a0utilizan las mismas historias de enga\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
