With a year-round population of five people, Alert is one of the most treacherous and remote places in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/jD19v.jpg\" alt=\"Remote Places Alert Canada\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Surrounded by the Arctic Ocean, the temperatures in the region can reach as low as 40 degrees below zero. Because of it\u2019s proximity to the North Pole, Alert is also susceptible to 24-hour darkness during winter and 24-hour sunlight during summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/tngVE.jpg\" alt=\"Alert Snow Bank Outpost Photograph\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tristan da Cunha<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/ChnGu.jpg\" alt=\"Tristan da Cunha&quot; \/&gt;<\/p&gt;\n<p&gt;Located in the southern Atlantic Ocean, <a href=&quot;https:\/\/allthatsinteresting.com\/tristan-da-cunha&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Tristan de Cunha <\/a&gt;is an archipelago of small islands considered the most remote place in the world.
