Users can share thoughts, photos, and experiences instantly, which helps maintain relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Social media also provides access to information. Young people can learn about current events, new trends, and different cultures. Educational pages and online communities often share useful content for schoolwork and personal interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Downsides of Social Media<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite its advantages, social media can have negative effects. One major issue is self-esteem.
